How to Register....

1What you’ll need

In order to register and play within the Central Soccer Sevens League, you will need to have the following information for each Team:

1)Fully completed SYFA Registration Form (see example) and a complete photocopy (for the CSS records)

2)Photocopies of your Coaching Certificates and First Aid Certificates

3)Fully completed (including Parent signatures) CSS Player registration form

4)Registration fee for SYFA and CSS

2Registering your Team with the SYFA

Complete your SYFA Registration form as shown in the example, if you have registered with the SYFA before, then enter your SYFA Number, if not then a new number will be allocated to you.

Note: The same SYFA number can be allocated to different Teams from the same Club in the same Age group, but each team requires a unique Head Coach and 1st Aider.

3Registering your Team with the CSS

Complete your Player Registration form (this must be complete BEFORE the Season starts).

Enter your Team name (the same as on the SYFA form), Your SYFA registration number, enter your Teams Age Group.

If you have decided on the players for the coming Season, then fill-in the table with all the details required i.e. Name, Date of Birth, Address and School. A parent or Guardian must sign this to confirm registration. This must be completed BEFORE the Season starts.

Photocopy all forms and bring them all, along with your fees to the next meeting (before the registration dates below), hand the form into the Registration Secretary, if the Registration Secretary isn’t present or you can’t make it to the meeting, contact them for their postal address. Registration is your responsibility and must be completed on time.

4Registration Fees

4.1SYFA

SYFA Registration forms must be received by the dates below:

1st PartLast day of June

Registration Fees:

As stated on the Registration form (2006-2007 is Team £11.75 and Insurance £30 Total £41.75)

4.2CSS

CSS Registration forms must be handed in at the same time as the SYFA registration forms, Player Registration forms must be completed by:

1st PartLast day of August

Registration Fees:

Under 8s, 9s, 10s, 11s £20Maximum 10 players can be registered



Under 12s£30Maximum 16 players

If you are paying by cheque, please write your team name and age group on the back, if you are paying cash please put the money in a sealed envelope and write your teams name and age group on the front (for multiple teams/age groups, please list all the teams you are paying for).

If your Registration forms and Registration fees are not handed into the CSS Registration Secretary by the above dates, then your team will not be included in the fixtures for that part of the Season.

5Registering New Players & De-registering Players

The process for adding or removing players is the same; please follow the steps below:

1.Either add or score out the name of the player (if adding ensure that the form is signed by the parent)

2.Photocopy the updated form

3.Retain a copy for your records

4.Hand in the other copy of the form at the next meeting or to one of the committee members

Note: if you run out of space, start a new (blank) player registration form

6Updating Team Information

If during a Season a new Coach joins or you have additional adults helping out, Coaches gain additional qualifications or people addresses of telephone number change, please download the Update form, complete the changes to be made, put a date on the form and hand it into one of the CSS Committee members at the next meeting.
